Party Hors d’Oeuvres

Love that party food! I created this image in response to the memory of a gathering with wonderful friends we hosted. At the same time I am also reminded of a little poem in a book published ages ago, “The Mason Williams Reading Matter.” (How long ago? The book cost $2.95.) Titled, “THEM HORS D’OEUVRES,” it goes:
How about Them Hors D’Oeuvres,
Ain’t they sweet?
Little piece of cheese,
Little piece of meat.
