I know Spring is coming when St. Patrick’s Day comes around. Chicago turns the river green with thousands looking on from the Michigan Avenue Bridge. There’s the big mass at Old St. Pat’s complete with the Cardinal, the Queen and her court, Irish dancers, the Mayor and other dignitaries, and finally the Shannon Rovers bagpiping us out the doors and onward to the Parade. I love the spirit, the community, the food, and maybe a toast or two. The images I created to celebrate this holiday were a joy to do and I’m sure my collection will grow in the coming years. Sláinte!
